Subaru: A Brand That Keeps Proving its Value

The community of enthusiasts who are faithful to the Subaru brand and everything that lays beneath get happy when their favorite automaker experiences small successes year after year, but bells ring even louder when huge victories wrapped with great sales numbers hit the wire. On November 1st, Subaru of America announced a 1.5 percent increase in month-over-month sales based on the numbers gathered in October in 2024. Subaru of America reported 54,552 vehicle sales for that month which beat the compared 53,772 total calculated for October in 2023. The car marker also was happy to announce that this success most naturally was reflected over the past year, since their overall sales numbers reached a 548,164 year-to-date sales figure when also stacked up next to 2023 calculations. According to their corporate press release, Subaru America's management team credited the efforts of their diligent retail outlets for the company's success on this front. "Subaru retailers stepped up to meet the needs of customers as they always do," said Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales for Subaru of America, "being 'More Than a Car Dealer' to deliver vehicles with the quality, safety and reliability that builds lifelong relationships." As Subaru fans and enthusiasts know, sometimes there are reasons beyond the car's look and feel that turn the heart over to this brand.

Greatness Reflected in a Iconic Brand

Between their intelligent marketing efforts, well-placed sales advertising on both broadcast and in print, it is impossible not to acknowledge all the charitable initiatives, safety accolades, well publicized commitments to innovation, industry change, customer satisfaction, and overall quality of product that Subaru has attached to its iconic presence in today's automotive marketplace. Quite naturally, like the masses of faithful followers who populate our growing community, the consumers who have chosen the Subaru brand obviously feel the positive attraction and generous foundation that supplies several platforms of vehicles that appeal to a diverse world of drivers who crave both unique style and design, but also want to support a company with purpose. “October was a notable month for our retailers, partners, and the entire Subaru family", explained Jeff Walters, Subaru of America's President and Chief Operating Officer. "These collective efforts are what inspire us to be More Than a Car Company®, pushing our commitment forward as a team.

Popularity Builds and Brings in More Faithful

There is no doubt that Subaru has turned over some impressive statistics over the past year and in the months going into the fall season. The Subaru Crosstrek, a favorite offering to the consumer with a compact SUV platform, sporty style, and impressive off-road performance that has been documented by both automotive media reviewers and quickly converted overland enthusiast alike, has had an outstanding introduction to the fall season by achieving its best sales performance to date with 15,928 units rolling out of dealerships into the hands of a new generation of faithful drivers, as confirmed by Subaru's press release. This popularity and uptick in sales has equated to a 15.7 percent difference when compared to the accounting in October 2023. Further confirming the SUV boom in the U.S., according to their announcement, both the Subaru Forester and the Subaru Outback have also seen their popularity skyrocket, as the sales of each add to the sweet flavor of the brands victory chant.
