This particular tool in the Company 23 STD Intake/Exhaust Cam Sprocket Tool. The intended purpose of this tool is to allow you to remove both of the intake and exhaust cam sprockets without damaging either the cam or the sprocket. Additionally, you can use this tool for other aspects of the engine such as cam seal removal, cylinder head removal, as well as general motor tear downs.

Notes:

This is comparable to the factory tools reference #499207400, and #499207400-A.

This only works with the exhaust cams on 2.5L turbo motors

The best way to get the sprockets off!

If you take off the sprockets for whatever reason, you need this. You can get them off without this, but putting them back on and getting them in position is almost impossible without a tool like this.
