Your factory molded upper radiator hose can endure extreme pressures, and extreme temperatures which will cause the hose to become soft over time. These have been engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, which is the leading cause of hose failure. They have also been pre-shaped to fit and to ensure for a perfect fitment.

The Gates hoses feature aramid, or rayon knit reinforcement which is resistant to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants. And it has a temperature range from -40 degrees C, to +100 degrees C.

The upper radiator hose may need to be trimmed so it does not hit the alternator pulley.
