Being Nitpicky

I would love to say these are perfect and I had no issues installing them. Alas, I can not but this was due to two factors; one of those being the car itself and the other being that the control arms were not a perfect fit.

So on the car side of the install, they give you two hours to do this, even with a lift I doubt it can be done in that time. Expect to block out about 4 hours. I had to cut off two of the sub frame bolts and get replacements. This could have just been an unfortunate thing for just me but after speaking with Subaru techs it's clear this is a common problem.

On to the control arms. From the box they looked great but the powder coating wasn't perfect and chips quite easily for a product at this cost level. During the install, I encountered a problem with the fork portion of the camber arm not being wide enough to actually fit around the bushing. I had to manually splay the arm to give it enough room to slide into position. This being the only reason I could not give it a 5 star review.

Obviously, these are small inconveniences in the grand scheme of things and don't detract from the fact that these are a clear upgrade from the stock arms.
