DETAILS

This is a strut tower bar with a completely new concept - splitting an aluminum tower bar in the center and connecting the two pieces with pillow ball joints. As the left and right pieces are flexibly connected, the bar can moderately handle longitudinal forces such as from gaps on the road to maintain ride comfort while strongly holding against lateral forces during cornering. As a result, not only cornering performance but also straight-line stability and ride comfort is improved to enhance the comprehensive performance level of the car. It allows the driver a sense of integration with the vehicle.

Quality product

I chose this strut tower brace because I saw another individual who had the IAG AOS and this brace. Some of the other braces were not compatible with where the IAG AOS was mounted. The install was quick amd easy. I kept the AOS bracket underneath the brace and made a little riser/metal plate to keep it all even. I had not had the opportunity to really get on it and see how it handles yet, I am looking forward to seeing how this brace and the rear one work.

Nice Improvement

This strut bar is beneficial for straightline driving correcting a lot of the imperfections in the road giving bad steering wheel feedback. It also helps when cornering as well as you would expect from a strut tower bar. The added benefit of it being a factory part with the STi branding on it adds a nice factory touch to engine bay as well.

Great addition when paired with the front position and rear position flexible draw stiffeners. Cornering ability has increased and helped me shave off some seconds on the canyon runs.
