DETAILS
The PERRIN Turbo Inlet hose added 10-15 wheel horsepower in the top end plus 5-10 ft-lbs. of torque in the middle RPMS. The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose removes a large leak the factory designed into the turbo. Fixing this leak reduces how hard the turbo works to hit the desired boost level. This added efficiency adds more HP and allows custom tuners to increase boost levels at higher RPMs, adding even more power!
The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose has a 3.0" internal diameter compared to 2.6" found in the OEM part. This allows for a greater amount of air to smoothly enter your engine with virtually no restriction. This larger diameter will easily support all bolt-on modifications and increased boost levels. The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is perfectly smooth on the inside. The OEM turbo inlet has sharp bends, corrugated ribbing, and strange pockets, all of which disturb airflow. The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is much smoother, with more gradual bends toward the turbo making for less restriction leading to increased horsepower and improved acceleration.
The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is reinforced with a stainless-steel support wire that is embedded within the silicone layers. The support adds rigidity to the hose and prevents collapses when used with restrictive filter elements and high horsepower setups. Increase horsepower and torque without ECU recalibration or tune! This part is designed and tested to work safely on your vehicle without any tuning required! However, more power can be gained with proper ECU tuning! Confirm any tune or recalibration you add is specific for ALL modifications added to the vehicle.

Installed very easily and complements all of my other Perrin mods on my VB. It is so much more streamlined than the stock unit on top of that it sounds better and throttle feels smoother.

I was nervous about trimming the piping shorter for the COBB intake.
It was a verry tight squeeze connecting the intake to the inlet. Not my favorite install but I noticed my max boost increased by .6 psi (stock tune).

Can't speak to how it feels installed without a tune but I will say I made some healthy power (348 WHP/ 376 WTQ dyno'd) with this, a perrin intake, Invidia UEL headers, and RAE I-pipe on 93 octane.
Install seems intimidating but nothing is actually that difficult; just take your time.
Note: I was told by a very credible source (don't want to out people on here) that skipping the step where you tap into the break booster line to reroute some evap hose can be skipped. I have skipped this and it has been fine however I did have a check-engine light pop up like Perrin says after ~2K miles but it went away and never came back.
