Perrin Rear Subframe Lockdown Kit 2015-2025 WRX / 2015-2021 STI / 2022-2025 BRZ

I installed this kit at the same time as the front control arm braces and these two together transformed my 2024 WRX. The car squats less on acceleration, dives less on braking, turns in quicker on the twisties, and is overall smoother on the road. The rear end feels less wobbly, especially over uneven pavement. I have been looking for random excuses to drive my car more because it is much more pleasurable both in normal and spirited driving conditions. Though subtle, you can notice a difference the second you start to move the car with both these parts installed. The price for these two parts combined has to be the best bang for you buck improvement in handling out there.

This upgrade is a simple to install item that really tightens up the rear end. This is paired up with driveshaft lockdown, carrier bushings, diff lockdown kit, positive shift kit, trans mount and pitch stop. As soon as these went in, you can feel the little bit of extra give there was is gone. Well worth the price point.

Now granted, there a a lot of things that help settle the rear. Strut tower bar, rear crossmember bracing, sway bars, diff lockdown, etc. But installing this is super easy and a very noticeable improvement over stock even with the previously mentioned mods (all of which I have). Going around turns I find it difficult and get the tires to squeal without jerking the wheel around. If you transition/turn smoothly, grip for days. Super easy install. Took me 1.5 hours and I got reallly slow when I do installs. Could probably be done in 30-40 (maybe less) minutes if you’re in a hurry. I highly recommend this mod for anyone tracking or doing canyon runs. The tail is more planted and holds the line over bumps with more confidence. It’s cheap. 9/10
