Looking to reduce high intake temperatures on your stock or modified WRX? The Mishimoto Direct-Fit Top-Mount Intercooler is engineered specifically for 2008–2014 Subaru WRX models to improve cooling, reliability, and performance on both the street and track. The stock WRX intercooler is prone to heat soak and even failure of the plastic end tanks above 18 psi, making an upgrade essential for high-boost setups.

This intercooler features durable cast-aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a dense bar-and-plate core. With a 3.75-inch-thick core and a total volume of 584 cubic inches, it optimizes heat transfer and supports vehicles from stock up to 400 whp. Rigorous testing showed a 12°F reduction in intake temperatures, along with a +6 whp and +8 wtq bolt-on power increase on a stock vehicle. Installation is straightforward, requires no modifications, and can be completed in under 30 minutes.

The kit includes a new turbo-to-intercooler O-ring and a silicone throttle body coupler for a complete installation.
