Free up some engine bay space with the Mishimoto Subaru WRX/STI Plug-N-Play Aluminum Fan Shroud Kit! This kit bolts directly to your stock or Mishimoto Subaru Impreza WRX/STI Performance Aluminum Radiator, and works perfectly with the stock coolant overflow tank. The brushed aluminum fan shroud is preassembled with two 12" high-flow fans, and prewired with stock-style connectors. This plug-n-play kit requires zero splicing, soldering, or crimping and bolts into place just like the stock fan shroud setup. Each fan provides over 1150 CFM of airflow, which effectively keeps hot engine temperatures at bay. Thanks to a slim profile, this fan shroud has a maximum depth of just 3.5" that saves significantly more engine bay space.

  • This fan shroud is compatible with the stock overflow tank, fan plugs, and stock radiator.
  • For 02-03 vehicles, please purchase two (2) plug adapters (P/N 45128FE000) from your dealership
  • Electric fans already come attached to the shroud.

Has no business being this good!

Did the heat cycles and couldn’t help but feel like I’ve won as first the Mishimoto thermostat was holding down the temps so well that it took a long time to go through the heat cycles with the fans and when it finally got up to the temp for the fans to kick on only the primary did and didn’t even give the secondary a chance before shooting the temps back down. Designed to last and creates a bigger gap from fans to engine spacing. Paired both items with the mishi matte black rad hoses and mishi constant tension clamps and everything was just a perfect line up. Also been running the same setup on a different STi for years and haven’t had a single issue so I know it’ll last!

This is a decent unit, but there's definitely a few issues. The overflow doesn't line up quite right and it could be much tighter. I understand bolting it in, but that does make it more challenging to remove so adapting it to come out a little faster would be nice.

This will help if you're looking for a bit more space, especially if you have the Mishimoto radiator. We're gonna take it apart and modify the mounting a bit, but it works and is pretty decent starting place if you're not looking to completely re-work the whole radiator shroud.
