Add some additional reliability and engine bay styling with the Mishimoto Subaru WRX 2008-2014 Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank. Stock coolant expansion tanks are prone to failure after years of constant temperature variations. The Mishimoto tank is constructed from durable, TIG-welded aluminum with barbed fittings for optimal durability and longevity. This expansion tank provides a 22% increase in capacity compared to the stock unit. It features a polished or anodized black finish that will look great in your engine bay, and it matches the Mishimoto Subaru WRX/STI Performance Aluminum Radiator. The Mishimoto Coolant Expansion Tank is engineered for perfect fitment in the 2008-2014 WRX and also fits the 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy GT / Outback XT! As with all of our WRX performance parts, this expansion tank includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Note: This expansion tank may not fit with the stock air intake "S" hose, an aftermarket intake is recommended for the best fit.

Mishimoto welded auxiliary tank for Subarus

Yah, the tank was great. Has been holding pressure just fine. But can we talk about the Mishimoto air freshener that came with it? The scent is perfect! Just a little citrus that blends but does not cover the odor of a coolant, oil, or power steering leak burning off the manifold. I can still clearly smell my brakes as they heat up on mountain passes. Perfect.

Looks great

Installed on my 2010 FXT and it looks great in my engine bay compared to the **** oem one. Install only took 30 minutes for me. If you’re going for some classy engine dress up, this is a perfect upgrade!
