DETAILS
IAG Performance and Fortune Auto have teamed up to develop the IAG Spec Street Series Coilovers by Fortune Auto for the VB WRX. Designed to balance daily comfort with capable performance driving, these single-adjustable coilovers significantly improve handling and control without sacrificing ride quality. This complete front and rear kit offers a well-rounded suspension upgrade at an exceptional value.
Rather than using an off-the-shelf setup, IAG refined the Fortune Auto 500 platform through extensive testing and development to better suit the 2022+ WRX chassis. Key changes focus on increased suspension travel, improved damping characteristics, and predictable road manners. The result is a coilover system that feels compliant on the street while remaining confident and responsive during spirited driving or track use.
An increase in front shock stroke allows the suspension to operate more effectively, delivering a smoother, more forgiving ride and reducing the chance of bottoming out. Carefully selected spring rates promote balanced weight transfer under braking and acceleration, while the 1-inch extended rear top hats ensure the dampers remain within their optimal operating range, even on lowered vehicles. With 24 clicks of rebound and compression adjustment, the suspension can be easily tuned from comfortable daily driving to a firmer, track-oriented setup.
The coilovers feature lightweight T6061 aluminum camber plates and spring perches for strength without excess weight, along with high-quality chrome-silicone springs for durability and consistent performance. Fortune Auto’s Flow Digressive piston technology provides firm low-speed damping for control, while softening over sharp bumps to maintain traction and ride comfort on rough roads.

Excellent coilovers. Straightforward install, great quality, and a night and day difference compared to the stock suspension. Great improvement to both performance and comfort. I live in an area known for having rough roads, so I wanted the IAG spec specifically over the regular Fortune Auto 500s because they were designed around daily driving, and it definitely shows.
I installed them with minimal adjustments, and they do sit quite low out of the box, especially in the rear. It's no issue on the stock wheels, but just be aware if you're running spacers, low offset or bigger wheels, or regularly drive anywhere you need a reasonable amount of clearance, it might be a good idea to adjust them to a reasonable height before you install them.
Hello!
Thank you for sharing your experience with the IAG Spec Street Series Coilovers. We are so glad to hear that you found the installation process to be straightforward and that you are noticing a significant improvement in both performance and comfort. Happy driving!

If Subaru ever finally makes a VB STi model, they should just put Fortune Auto in charge of the shocks. The car rides SMOOTH everywhere and can soak up the nasty bumps just as well as the factory digressive shocks. Shocks adjust with a crisp click that is easy to count. I cut holes in the trunk liner for the **** to come through. Still no exposed body in the trunk for me! Photos show my 1st install that slammed ride height down 2 1/4", and then the final set height down 1 1/4 from stock on my +38 8.5 Enkei's with about 2 degrees of camber.
