IAG Performance and Fortune Auto have teamed up to create the IAG Spec Street Series Coilovers by Fortune Auto for the 2013–2024 Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, GT86, and GR86. These single-adjustable coilovers are designed to balance daily comfort with capable performance driving, improving handling and responsiveness without sacrificing ride quality. This complete front and rear kit delivers a noticeable upgrade in control and confidence at an excellent value.
Rather than offering a standard off-the-shelf setup, IAG Performance worked closely with Fortune Auto to refine the Fortune Auto 500 platform specifically for these chassis. Extensive testing and development focused on suspension travel, damping characteristics, and real-world drivability. The result is a coilover system that feels composed and comfortable on the street while remaining predictable and capable during spirited driving or track days.
The IAG-spec tuning prioritizes usable suspension travel and smooth weight transfer. Increased front shock stroke helps deliver a more forgiving ride and reduces the likelihood of bottoming out, while softer spring rates improve balance under braking and acceleration. A 1-inch extended top hat allows the dampers to operate in their optimal range, even on lowered vehicles, preserving shock travel, maintaining proper preload, and helping prevent premature wear. With 24 clicks of rebound and compression adjustment, the suspension can be easily tailored from street comfort to track-focused firmness.
Lightweight T6061 aluminum camber plates and spring perches reduce unnecessary weight without compromising strength, while high-quality chrome-silicone springs provide durability and consistent performance. Fortune Auto’s Flow Digressive piston technology delivers firm low-speed damping for stability and control, while automatically softening over sharp bumps and rough surfaces to maintain grip and ride quality.
