Every IAG 600 FA20 Long Block comes fully assembled with all timing components pre-installed, eliminating the complexities associated with the FA20F’s intricate timing system. Installation is straightforward—mechanics simply transfer manifolds, sensors, injectors, and external accessories, allowing most installations to be completed in a single day.
IAG 600 FA20F Short Block The foundation of the long block is the IAG 600 FA20F Short Block, built from new Subaru FA20 engine cases with modified oil passages for improved lubrication. Each case is bored and honed to 86.1mm on an in-house Sunnen SV-30 CNC cylinder hone for precise piston-to-wall clearances, reducing engine noise and enhancing durability.
Crankshaft & Bearings: New 2015+ Subaru FA20 WRX crankshaft matched with ACL or King main bearings.
Connecting Rods: IAG Spec H-Beam rods with ARP2000 bolts, a substantial upgrade over OEM rods, engineered to handle increased torque and boost.
Pistons: IAG Spec JE FSR 86.1mm forged pistons in 2618 T6 alloy, optimized for high cylinder pressures, featuring asymmetrical skirts for reduced mass and friction. Secured with .866" x 2.250" x .150" carbon steel wrist pins and Tru Arc locks.

Valve Train: Kelford dual cylindrical valve springs, retainers, and new GSC Viton valve stem seals.
Head Installation: Mounted with OEM Subaru head gaskets and secured with 11mm ARP2000 head studs.
Camshafts & Timing The long block includes Kelford 264-EZ camshafts, designed to increase power across the rev range without compromising driveability. Cam timing and valve lash are precisely set using OEM shims.
