IAG Performance 14mm Head Stud Dowel Pin Install Tool

Installing 14mm head stud dowels on a Subaru EJ engine can be a tricky process. The steel dowels are relatively thin, and using a hammer to seat them can risk distorting the dowel, sometimes requiring replacement. To address this, IAG developed the 14mm Head Stud Dowel Tool.

This tool is specifically designed to support the inner walls of the dowel evenly as it is tapped into place on the short block deck surface, reducing the risk of damage. Each tool is precision CNC machined from aluminum and features a silver anodized coating for durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring a reliable and repeatable installation every time.
