HKS has updated the popular FR-S/BRZ Supercharger Kit with the new V3 version, engineered to deliver even more power. This revision includes a larger-diameter inlet pipe, the removal of the restrictor plate, and a bigger supercharger pulley. These enhancements optimize airflow into the supercharger, allowing it to spin slower while moving air more efficiently.

The slower supercharger speed combined with improved airflow results in greater air volume and cooler intake temperatures compared to previous versions, translating into increased power. The V3 Supercharger Kit is also available with an optional Flash Editor, offering pre-programmed tunes for 91 octane and E85 fuels. Additionally, a 93 octane calibration is available exclusively through HKS USA and participating HKS USA Pro-Dealers.

Notes from the manufacturer: 

  • The flash editor does not support AT 2013-2016 Models
  • Minor modification of the bumper reinforcement, radiator support, and front chain cover is required.

  • Confirmed for ECU ID Codes for Manual Transmission: ZA1J700C, ZA1J900C, ZA1JA00C, ZA1JA01C, ZA1JB00C, ZA1JB01C, ZA1JD00C, ZA1JF00C.
  • Supercharger kit with new layout best matches with the 91 octane gasoline.

Optional Upgrades:

  • Pulley Upgrade Kit: 12002-KK001 for E85 is available separately.

The following injectors and pumps are required to use E85 data.

  • 16U-02-0700-4 Deatsch Werks Fuel Injector 700cc
  • 9-651-1010 Deatsch Werks Fuel Pump

PULLEY UPGRADE KIT and E85 fuel + upgraded fuel part enable the engine to output 90% more compared to the stock.

Hi on the subaru hks supercharger system how much extra is the optional flash editor program is it a flash card that you guys load up that plugs into my subaru cpu? 

This comes with the flash editor included at no additional cost. The tunes are pre-programmed on the the flash editor.

Is this kit compatible with a 2020 brz and if so is it carb compliant? 

This is compatible with the 2020 BRZ but is not confirmed CARB legal at this time.

Will it work with an automatic? 

Unfortunately this is for manual transmission vehicles only.

Would this kit fit the new 2022 subaru brz limited? 

Unfortunately we cannot confirm fitment for the 22 BRZ at this time.
