These 5-ply silicone couplers are fiber reinforced to prevent distortion in high boost scenarios but offer mobility and flexibility, isolating your TMIC assembly from the vibrations of your engine. All kits come with a replacement 90deg turbo outlet coupler, throttle body coupler and stainless steel BREEZE high-torque clamps.

QUICK SPECS:

  • 5-Ply High-Grade Silicone Couplers - Smooth interior to maximize airflow and minimize restriction
  • Heat Resistant Reinforcement - Couplers keep their shape, even at high boost levels
  • Trim-to-fit Geometry - The turbo leg of the 90 degree coupler is intentionally long for fitment with older, smaller turbos
  • Stainless Steel High-Torque Clamps - Rust-proof construction with smooth operation

FITMENT:

  • 2004-20 Subaru Impreza STI (w/ factory or GrimmSpeed TMIC only)
  • 2002-07 Subaru Impreza WRX (w/ STI or GrimmSpeed TMIC only)
  • 2004-08 Subaru Forester XT (w/ STI or GrimmSpeed TMIC only)

Special Fitment Note:

  • Supported fitments include only those vehicles running OEM STI and GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercoolers. The elbow coupler is sized to fit multiple turbo setups, some trimming may be required. Just what was needed

My old couplers were cut too short causing mounting issues. Now my tmic fits perfectly and have no boost issues. Lesson learned...beware of who you let work on your car...those were some bad cuts that led to me having to buy a replacement set.

Intercooler couplers

Good quality couplers. The turbo coupler is a tad too long and had to be cut down a bit.

Solid hoses (requires trimming)

A bit of trimming required on turbo hose to fit stock TMIC. If you don’t, good luck installing that intercooler. Lol.
Great hoses otherwise.
