Used the 66% spring and the clutch feels much better now. Install isn't mechanically difficult, but getting to it suuuuuuuuuuuucks. No room to move down there. Be careful not to lose the C-clip behind the carpet. Patience and flexibility is key.

I finally installed the GKTECH clutch return spring on my BRZ. Coming from a stiff feedback from OEM spring to a more linear feel of a spring (theres softness when slightly pressing on clutch before disengaging clutch is kind of a weird feeling, it’ll take a while to get use to but it made shifting gears like driving a 90s JDM car. It’s the first ever drive I’ve had with the new spring while writing this review so a lot could change.

Using the softer spring, finding the bite point is much easier than the stock spring while still offering a bit more return sprinting than simply removing the spring altogether. If you’re a diamond club member and don’t know what to do with your points, this is it!

I went with the lighter of the two springs, and it is a big difference now with clutch feel. It no longer feels vague or mushy and I no longer have to fight the stock helper spring when releasing the clutch.
