DETAILS

The ETS Axle-back exhaust for the 2022+ WRX utilizes a full stainless steel construction. The axle back is 2.5" that mates to the stock 2 bolt flange. All gaskets are included to aid in ease of installation. This is the easiest way to get a little bit more noise and performance out of your new WRX!

The ETS Muffled Axle back is the quieter of the offerings from ETS. This product is designed for customers who are looking for a mild upgrade in sound, if your stock system is a 1 in terms of scale this system will fall somewhere between the 4-5 position on the sound scale! The sound of an axle back is greatly affected by the components that come before it as well, any adjustments to the downpipe and or mid pipe will increase the overall exhaust note as well so be sure to keep that in mind when making your selection!

Sounds great with a deep tone

The sound is amazing inside of the car. It has a much deeper tone and you get pops when you shift at redline as well as when you rev match downshift sometimes. There is a bit of drone between 2k-2.3K rpms but it doesn't sound bad. I personally don't have an issue with it but others might. My only issue was the ETS supplied nuts and bolts. The threading on them was pretty poor so I ended up just using the OE nuts and bolts from the stock exhaust. Other than that, the exhausts themselves are great quality and it overall enhanced the look of my WRX.

Perfect Sound, great quality

I actually bought the single walled 4inch Remark Axelback with no mufflers and ended up selling them and going with the ETS. The remarks were WAY too loud, had the most obnoxious cold start ever and the 80+ mph highway drone was so bad. I did some more research and ended up getting a pair of the ETS with the resonator and the difference is night and day. The ETS is much louder than stock, still has loud cold starts but nothing even close to the Remarks. Still some drone on the highway but not overly annoying. Personally, I feel like the sound of the ETS is a little deeper and more mature. You know you’ve got a muffler delete, but it’s not overly obnoxious. Quality of the hardware and gaskets were top notch. My only con (if I had to find one) is that the tips stick out by a few degrees to the sides of the bumper cutouts. I would have preferred that they were parallel with the car, but that’s just personal preference. I would highly recommend the ETS over the Remark.
