DETAILS

This BORLA® Cat-Back™ system is tuned for performance and sound for both the 2.0L engine in the WRX and the 2.5L engine in the STI. Our S-Type sound level is designed to bring out the Subaru Boxer engine rumble and provides an aggressive sound without the drone. This system features 3.5” quad polished T-304 stainless steel tips. For ease of installation, this Cat-Back™ is a direct bolt on part and does not require cutting. Like all BORLA® exhaust products, each system is handmade in the USA by master craftspeople and features premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel construction, ultra-smooth mandrel bent piping, and a Million-Mile Warranty.

I didn't realize what I was missing! Install was a quick and easy hour with hand tools. When I lowered the STI, fired it up, and heard that rumble my partner asked if I was crying. I can't confirm or deny any tears of joy but damn the sound of the Borla puts a huge smile on my face. Well done Borla and thank you Subimods!

Dude, this exhaust slaps. I am so happy w my purchase. I started crying when I heard her turn on for the first time. Super easy install, only concern was that I couldn’t use the springs that came w my stock exhaust on my sti because we couldn’t get it tight enough but other than that she’s great. Suuuuuuper obnoxious when you want it to be, very tasteful when you don’t. Very minimal drone when up in the high 70 low 80s cruising but nothing a little music can’t cover, otherwise there’s none at all. Love this thing, so happy I chose her over the others I had in mind. Video attached is what it sounds like on 17 sti completely stock else wise.
