DETAILS

This is the Boomba Racing Short Shift Transmission Plate. This is an extremely durable bracket that has been fabricated from zinc-plated steel. This is a direct replacement of the existing shift plate on the passenger side of your transmission which can reduce your shifter throws by 30% or 50% when paired with Boomba's short-throw shift lever. This particular plate has an increased weight of 1340 grams which is nearly double the weight of the stock plate which will help the shift momentum and positive engagement.

    These should come in the WRX stock!

    Let's be honest the stock WRX shifter is trash, if you like stock height but want a significant boost in quality do yourself the favor of ordering The Boomba Shift Plate, Stop and Bushing. The amount of throw reduction is spot on, and the doubled weight makes for a solid feeling shift.

    It has that nice feel!

    This part feels so much better than the stock one , I’m new to upgrading my stock wrx 17’, but I paired this with a boom a short shifter and act clutch and flywheel and my car feels amazing! Can’t wait to continue getting quality parts!

    It takes a while

    Was a harder install for me being new to modifying but worth it for the shift feel
