This high performance recirculating bypass valve is precision machined out of aircraft grade billet aluminum. It features an internal brass piston design and is pressure tested to withstand up to 75psi, allowing it to compliment even the most aggressive turbo builds. Spring pre-load determines the pressure differential required across the piston before the BOV opens and releases the pressurized intake charge. Designed to be a replacement for the OEM bypass valve and is available in 4 different colors.

Quality in Boost

This is the only modification I’ve done to my WRX, and I love it! I’ve noticed the boost build slightly higher than average, usually only getting to around 15 psi, and now it gets to 18 psi. It seems way preppier and comes with the fun noises

Huge Difference on my car with this. boost hold far more steady. i dont get any high flutter. and the sounds!! turbo noises for days

I bought this bypass valve specifically because I saw videos of it producing that signature turbo flutter sound. I was also one of those guys who was saying "surely that's not compressor surge, that's just the valve chattering" while watching videos.

Take it from me now that I've installed it and heard it, it's compressor surge, which will likely decrease the lifespan of your turbocharger. It's the price you pay for cool stututu noises.

One thing I've noticed though is that the flutter is more prominent when coming off of 5-10 psi of boost. Letting off at higher boost pressures, the flutter tapers off since the bypass valve is opening more freely. On wide-open-throttle pulls, the turbo doesn't flutter at all. So, you can imagine this bypass valve as a more "stiff" bypass valve than the OEM one, requiring more force to open completely. That said, the valve may do damage to your turbo due to the compressor surge but it's a nice happy medium between completely deleting your boost pressure relief valve (or installing a block-off plate) to get that signature flutter noise, and having the OEM bypass valve with no flutter at all.

Qauilty is good. It's interesting that you have to modify the oem inlet or any other inlet that has the same build as oem inlet for that matter.
