Seriously though, it is huge. About two times the height of the oem scoop. Overall fit is pretty good and it was cake to install. Finish is better than expected. APR does an outstanding job of finishing these. Only thing I don't like is how the interior of the scoop does not have any type of cover. What I mean by that is this. The interior of the OEM scoop has a plastic insert to cover and protect the seams of the actual hood top and structural metal underneath. Why this might be an issue is salt, sand, dirt, mud and god knows what else will accumulate and eventually start to corrode the aluminum. I'm thinking about how to fix this and will post some pics when I have it done. Probably going to use fiberglass or plastic. We'll see. Overall, it is a really cool scoop. Just can't give it 5 stars because of the interior issue.
EASY FIX: I used a piece of black ABS sheet, cut it to size, heated it with a heat gun and used a brake to bend it into essentially a Z shape. Little 3M moulding tape and it will never come off. Simple fix to keep the crud out. See the pic of it installed.
