DETAILS

The AEM Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Impreza / Crosstrek models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass airflow sensor. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools.

Does this piece fit right hand drive cars?

AEM states this will fit all models. They do not provide specific information whether or not it fits right hand drive models. I have included a link to AEM's website below. https://www.aemintakes.com/21-772c-aem-cold-air-intake-system.

Will this fit a 2012 impreza wrx hatch?

Unfortunately not this is for the Impreza and Crosstrek only.

Will this work in a 2011 impreza outback sport?

Unfortunately no this will not fit your 2011 Impreza Outback Sport.

Will this fit my 2011 subaru impreza 25l na?

Unfortunately it will not fit your 2011 Impreza.

Great Upgrade, Easy Install

Love the look and sound of this intake upgrade. AEM utilizes a perfect empty space for the air filter to mount. I have made the fog light housing that covers the air filter function as a air intake port for direct air flow to the filter. Noticeable difference in power as well.

2013 Subaru Impreza CAI

Great Sound. Definitely adds more attention to the vehicle. Also I would do a roll by in sport mode with the paddle shifters and people would turn heads quickly. Even if I did a little rev at the gas station as well. Recommend this over a Short Ram intake for sure.

Great Product But beware factory damage!

Got my i take in and both ends of the tube had noticable damage luckily was able to use an exhaust roller to get the edges back to normal. Install was fairly simple took about an hour all together. The only other sketchy part was super gluing the insert into the tube because of the previous damage which didnt allow it to set flush with edge.

Make sure double check everything in the box before it gets sent out and not make people like me wait for the air flitter
