DETAILS

The GetaDomTune Cylinder 4 Chamber Cooling Mod was designed to increase coolant flow to cylinder #4 head area. The additional coolant flow helps reduce cylinder #4 coolant temps and keeps the temps more uniform with the rest of the cylinders. This helps reduce knock and detonation in cylinder #4, which is known to cause the dreaded EJ ringland failure. Keep your EJ happy by installing this kit. 

Subimods offers the newest v6 Kit which includes custom formed EPDM Rubber Hose(for better coolant tolerance, better fitment and easier installation), custom GDT 23mm clamps, Anodized 6061 Fitting (further reduced diameter for improved heater performance), Aluminum Alloy Fitting (for better corrosion resistance).

Kit Contents: 

  • Custom machined and anodized 6061 fitting.
  • Aluminum T
  • Custom Formed Rubber hose for universal fitment on all specified EJs
  • GDT custom made 304SS embossed, non perforated, rounded edge worm clamps.

Nice mod

After reading and learning about the issues with cylinder 4. I had to grab one. Pretty simple install. Can be a pain in the A just with the amount of room. But pretty straightforward.
