The hex at the top saved me...

Never thought I'd say this but that little 25mm (I think) at the top saved me from having to catch a ride to buy an oil filter wrench. The filter got stuck and I was able to use a big wrench I had in my trunk to get it off. If it had been OEM I would've been stuck.

As for quality, used a few of these and never had any issues.

Helpful support and awesome filter!

I want commend the Subimod staff on helping me on Reddit to purchasing the correct oil filter for my vehicle. The fact they responded to me on a different site to answer my question is phenomenal! The oil filter is sick and the oil change and filter installation was easy! I wouldn't mind if you guys kept the black version in stock to match my engine bay ;)
