The racing inspired PERRIN front tow hook mounts directly to your existing PERRIN plate relocate stem. Run with a plate relocate on the way to the show and change to a tow hook for a cool race appearance.

This product is NOT designed as a recovery hook! For any vehicle recovery needs, the OEM tow hook provided by the manufacturer, OR another suitable method as determined by the manufacturer or recovery company should be utilized. In no instance is the PERRIN Tow Hook designed for the purpose of recovering the vehicle! This product is designed for “show use” and for pulling the vehicle solely in a straight line. For example: Loading vehicle on to a “roll-back” style wrecker. The maximum total weight of vehicle and contents not to exceed 4000 lbs. PERRIN Performance is not responsible for damages or injury as a result of using this product in any way, including straight towing.

Quality Parts, Average Tolerances

Overall, this definitely feels like a good quality part. It also looks good on the car, something that I think everyone considers when buying parts. Unfortunately I had to take a star away because the hole in the ring that the bolt goes through has more slop than I think it should (approximately 0.1 inch). While there is a disclaimer that the hook should only be used to pull a vehicle in a straight line, anyone that has been in an accident knows your car can end up at some strange angles. In the unlikely event that anyone from Perrin sees this review, I thought it relevant to mention. Many thanks to Subimods for the rapid order fulfillment, quality control, and fast shipping.
