Had my alignment done after replacing all 4 struts assemblies. The tech said there was a weird minor pull seemingly randomly to one side or the other when they test drove that they couldn’t figure out. Figured I’d start by replacing these bushings before tackling the whole steering rack.
Kind of a pain to get the square one in without loosening the rack from the steering column, but I managed. Surprisingly my 20+ year old bushings seemed to be in really good shape…
I get a little more feeling through the steering wheel and the steering is maybe marginally more crisp? Probably wasn’t worth the effort given how good the old ones looked, but seemed worth putting these in since I already had the OE bushings out, and they seem perfectly fine.
