The Verus Engineering Hood Scoop Block-Off was developed to improve the aerodynamics and cooling of your VB Subaru WRX. By blocking off the scoop, the engine bay reduces under-hood pressure as it is no longer being force fed high-pressure airflow. This under-hood pressure causes lift as well as decreases airflow through the cooling stack such as a front mount intercooler and radiator, hurting cooling efficiency.

This kit is great for owners looking to improve the performance of their WRX after removing the factory or aftermarket top mount intercoolers and going to a large front-mount intercooler or charge cooler.

Needed for any fmic

No point in the hood scoop after moving to front mount and the block off looks pretty nice too

Great addition for the VB WRX if you have a FMIC. Fairly inexpensive and looks great. Fit perfectly and enhances airflow through the FMIC/ radiator area.

Bolts up tight and easily after removing tmic shroud.
Engine bay is now staying dry/debri free.
Temps when moving have gotten better as well

Right bolts, Wrong Washers

Plate itself fits great, but the wrong #10 washers were provided. Their outer diameter was smaller than the holes in the plate.
