This is the Verus Engineering OEM Hood Scoop Block-Off Kit. this block-off kit has been designed to improve the aerodynamics and cooling of your vehicle. By blocking off the scoop, the owner is able to reduce the under-hood pressure. The under-hood pressure will cause lift as well as decrease airflow through the cooling stack such as a front mount intercooler or radiator which can hurt the cooling efficiency.

Hood scoop block off by verus

Not too bad of an install, I bought this for better aerodynamics since I went to FMIC and clearance in my engine bay due to my aos location. Having removed hood scoop router.

Form fit and function

Form and fit were perfect! Finish on the metal looks great, and stops incoming air from hood scoop trapping hot air in the engine bay with my FMIC

Verus scoop

Do yourself a favor and go to the Verus Engineering site so you can see the pressure maps and what happens to your car when you move your intercooler and do nothing else about it. Extremely well made, cost effective and it looks awesome.
