Easy install, and looks amazing! Does as advertised in helping the cooling system be more efficient. Definitely a nice touch once going to a front mount intercooler. Looking forward to purchasing the Verus hood vents to complement the hood scoop block off plate!

Works just as Verus says it does. Installed it and noticed intake air temp and coolant temps both dropped a significant amount, for mid summer driving temps. Intake dropped close to 10°F, and coolant temp dropped between 10 and 15°F.

Simple neccesity when you go with a FMIC

There's not too many inexpensive options for deleting your hood scoop when going with a FMIC. Sure you could leave the scoop in place, but the turbulence it creates in the engine bay without the TMIC will give you cooling problems. The Verus blockoff plate is a nice piece, easy to install.

Beautifully engineered but does not fit XTI hood

This is a very well manufactured, beautiful product made for a WRX or an STI unfortunately it does not fit the XTI Autodromo hood for the FJ Forster..
