Noticeably better steering feel!

Installed this in about 15 minutes on my 2014 Outback, and after getting the tightness of the bolt to be just right, I got my steering to feel more communicative and tight without it being too heavy or making unpleasant creaking, as it did when I first put it on. I used the longer of the two included bolts first to get the two clamps seated in the column joint; using a drill and an extension I was able to tighten the bolt from the top of the engine bay. After the clamps were in place, I swapped out the long bolt with the short one to improve clearance, putting the included loctite on it to keep it from loosening. It’s been on my car for a week now and it has settled in nicely. It won’t do anything to improve the handling of your car like a stiffer swaybar, but for $80 it’s a pretty inexpensive way to make your car feel tighter, and it absolutely compliments my other modifications.

improve steering responsiveness

you don't have to remove any covers but you have to get under the car driver side and make sure the wheels are off the ground so you can hand turn the universal joint. It won't close all the way so don't overtighten.

Works amazingly

Not the hard to install all needed to take the TMIC to get the space needed to install but not hard at all and it makes a world of difference the steering is so much more tighter 10/10 would recommend if your looking at not spending a lot on tightening up your car.
