Tein has released their new line of Flex Z coilovers for those of you looking to upgrade to a quality suspension setup, without compromising your bank account. These are made ready to install that comes with provided with top hats. Here are more key features: Full-length ride height adjustment feature. Twin-tube structure. Damping force adjustment system. Complete kit with upper mounts exclusively designed for this coil-over system with the exception of some models. 1-full car kit. Ride height adjustment with little or no change in ride quality. 16 level linear damping force adjustment system. Complete suspension kit of 4 shock absorbers and 4 springs. In conclusion, the new line of Flex Z coil overs inherits all the features and quality of the Street Flex coil overs, but with an adoption of a new platform allows the price to be considerably lower. These coil overs still maintain the “made in Yokohama” quality. These are ride height adjustable shock absorbers that are fully loaded with Tein’s comprehensive technology, at an affordable price.

Close to stock

Bought these for my 02 forester to replace the lift kit that come stock on foresters. Gave me the perfect fitment I was looking for and drives close to if not better than stock. Significantly increased feel and stability when cornering to. Absolutely love them. Only problem was they came with a few scratches. The box it arrived in looked like a mountain lion was in there trying to get out. Obviously got thrown around quite a bit but I blame that on the shipping company. they still work amazing. Would recommend

Best bang for your buck

I bought these to replace a bent set of BC Racing coilovers on my 2007 WRX Wagon. The whole installation took roughly 9 hours, with a good portion of this time being used to free a rusty camber bolt. I found that the preload and ride height were pre-adjusted. The car used to sit 1 inch above stock ride height on the BCs. It now sits an inch below stock ride height. The car handles like a dream and looks like it fell right out of one. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, Tein is the way to go.
Here's a small tip: Get some PB blaster and soak the lower strut bolts overnight to make your life easier. It's also easier to access the rearward lower bolts on the wagons if you remove the rear brake calipers.

Shipping damage

What is there to be said about Tein alway great products. I have no issues this the performance and build of these coilovers. They are great for a daily wagon with light track/mountain driving. The biggest issue i have is the amount of damage from shipping. Every coilover has paint chips. Sucks when you expect a perfect product and them come looking used
