Sick **** mirrors

Hit a cone with my new 2024 WRX Subaru. **** popped off like a bottle of wine so I ordered these mirrors from Subimods. **** came in clutch. I saved me some money and got some jdm style mirrors.

JDM mirror glass for JDM power fold mirrors

Installed these on JDM Power Folding mirrors (search VB Reddit for install guide). Wide angle lens is nice. It also looks better on the JDM mirrors than the stock glass thanks to needing less outward angle adjustment. Overall very happy with the product and recommend them for any VB owner who wants a wider field of view.

For anyone who has not swapped Subaru mirror glass before, it is easy to do. Angle the mirrors up, pull the existing glass out, unhook heater wires, reverse order to install new glass.

Now I see!

Wow, what a difference! The JDM mirrors offer a massive difference in viewing angle. The view is different to what we are used to seeing and takes a little time to adjust. Overall though, night and day difference.

To install, push the mirror all the way in at the top, apply firm pressure to the exposed bottom section. It will pop out.

The drivers side OEM has a metal clip, this does not work with the JDM. Just disconnect the heating elements, attach to the new mirror, then pop back into place.

It takes about 45 seconds to do this.
