DETAILS

This muffler was developed with a focus on high-quality, comfortable sound and a beautiful appearance that can be enjoyed even from outside the vehicle. While keeping the volume in the low rotation range to the same level as the original, we have set it so that you can feel a sporty sound as the rotation speed increases.
It mutes low-frequency sounds that feel oppressive while emphasizing high-frequency sounds to create a light sound. Adopts a sporty large diameter cutter (120mm). Made of glossy material, the tail cutter is hand-polished by craftsmen to create a beautiful appearance.

How It Should've Been Out The Door

In terms of performance and sound, I won't speak to that as that is not my expectation. This product retains the spirit of a clean and stock appearance of the vehicle while adding the STI brand, which is a beautiful touch. To top it off, it's a polished finished unlike the brushed metal look of a re-used car part. Unfortunately, it seems as if the US models of the ZC and ZD have very short (almost non-existent) mufflers where they're almost hidden at most angles. As a previous Series.Blue owner since 2014, this has personally disappointed me for a decade. This STI muffler achieves that aggressive appearance while retaining official Subaru parts. A clear step closer to a finished product, how it should've been delivered to its motorsport enthusiasts out the door.
