Subaru STI Flexible Tower brace

Picked up the tower brace after having my STI vBars for about 7,000 miles. Absolutely incredible what they have done to the confidence in the steering. Here in SoCal we are blessed with heavenly canyon roads. I got my tower brace installed earlier this week and have already put about 270 miles on it. I just want to keep driving. 10/10 I would recommend to everyone. It doesn’t make the steering heavier it, rather I’d say it makes the steering feel more direct and planted. The car wasn’t a noodle or anything like that before. I was very pleased when I got the STI vBars installed so I figured sometime I would try the tower brace as well. This isn’t some random thick metal brace. The confidence upgrade is clearly a reflection of the R&D that went into this. And plus it’s an STI piece. It goes well with the red STI starter button on my BRZ TS lol! Happy new year indeed!

Worth the extra

Bought this to replace a Grimmspeed FSTB. Weight savings were sizable and ride quality improved with the ball bearing setup while not sacrificing rigidity in corners. So far, seems to be worth the extra cost, but will know for sure once I can test it out on the track.
