Here, you are looking at the Spec-D Single Exit Style Cat Back Exhaust w/ Burnt Tip 2002-2007 WRX / STI.

For a good balance of price and performance, Spec-D offers the motorsports enthusiasts a strong line-up of performance exhausts that are constructed with high-quality SUS304 stainless steel, and CNC-machined flanges, and manufactured with a polished finish. Each system features mandrel-bent stainless steel piping for maximum exhaust flow and reduced back pressure. These exhausts are engineered to produce strong mid to top-end power gains, as well as an increase in horsepower and torque.

A budget friendly alternative that’s better than rusted out stock exhaust

I knew I couldn’t compare this to a $800 invites cat back or any other know brands going in. My car isn’t pristine by no means but my exhaust was in terrible condition. The fitment on a forester xt was decent and would be better if not for my hitch being in the way of the can. That being said the welds weren’t the greatest. There were scuffs and the box it came in was pretty beat up and ripped. Mine shipped from California and took over a week to get there but was free shipping so not surprised. As for sound it actually is pleasant for me. I left the silencer installed and it’s quiet at idle but does give me a good rumble tone under acceleration so I’m happy with my $200 improvement. I do have a stock downpipe and when u add the adapter from pen do to aftermarket cat back it’s really tight so be prepared and make sure u replace the donut gasket. I plan to buy grimspeed gaskets in the future as the ones that come with are paper thin. I’d buy a down pipe also to help make the process easier imo.
