DETAILS
Fix your VB WRX's factory understeer and unlock predictable, flat cornering. While the VB chassis is structurally stiffer than previous generations, Subaru equipped it with a modest 19mm rear sway bar. When you push the car into a hard corner, the factory rear bar lets the back end roll and lag behind the front tires, creating annoying push (understeer) and preventing the car from rotating cleanly. The SMY Performance Stealth 24mm Solid Rear Sway Bar completely re-writes your car's handling dynamics. By swapping the soft factory bar for a massive, high-tensile solid steel upgrade, you'll enjoy a car that rotates effortlessly, stays flat through high-speed sweeps, and puts power down with precision.
Features:
- Up to 124% Stiffer Than OEM: Hollow factory bars flex under load, but this solid, mandrel-bent steel bar resists twisting with absolute authority. It offers three distinct adjustability holes to completely dial in your rear-end rotation:
1- Furthest Hole: +86% stiffer than stock (Perfect for a sharper, more controlled daily street setup).
2- Middle Hole: +105% stiffer than stock (The sweet spot for aggressive canyon runs and spirited driving).
3- Closest Hole: +124% stiffer than stock (Maximum roll control, ideal for dialing out understeer on track or autocross days).
- Integrated Lateral Lock Collars: Cheaper sway bars slide horizontally through their bushings during heavy cornering, which delays suspension response. The SMY Stealth bar features built-in stop collars welded right to the bar, keeping it perfectly centered and instantly engaged the moment you turn the wheel.
- Squeak-Free Grease-Zerk Brackets: The top complaint about aftermarket polyurethane bushings is the dreaded dry-bushing squeak. SMY eliminates this headache by pairing premium polyurethane bushings with heavy-duty brackets that feature integrated grease ports and protective caps. You can refresh your grease in seconds using a standard grease gun without taking anything apart.
- The Stealth Factor: Part of SMY's signature "Stealth Line," this bar is finished in a durable, road-resistant satin black powder coat. It offers maximum protection against moisture, salt, and debris while maintaining an understated, factory-plus look underneath your chassis.
- Color = Power coated Stealth Black

2022-2026 Subaru WRX
After suffering a major failure with the perrin bar, I decided to give this big boy a try. Comparing to the perrin bar, the first thing I noticed was the bushing stops were welded in in the correct location. You can see where I added split collars to the perrin to help locate it better. Also the bushing housings are billet instead of stamped! Buying these as an upgrade run about $100 alone. Installed in the center hole, it is night and day compared to the perrin which was already a vast improvement over stock. Im not dogging on the brand, my car almost looks sponsored by perrin, but the blade type torsion bars really need splined ends to avoid these failures when driven hard.
