This product replaces the latch on the JDM Armrest Cubby Extension. We have been asked if it is possible to sell just the latch because the clip breaks. It is impossible to buy just the latch from Subaru forcing owners to either live with it, buy another one, or junk it. So we at SMY have decided why we allow customers to waste their money, or have them deal with broken parts. We have made a stronger latch than OEM and we stand behind it. Made on a 3d printer. We use high-end filament that will withstand both high and low temperatures.

I heard that this armrest extension fits a 2022 wrx can you confirm this? 

We cannot confirm fitment for the 22 WRX at this time.

Does this add a mid section storage compartment as well as raising the height if the armrest?

I have a 2020 wrx sti limited i would love to keep my suede armrest will this kit allow me to extend my center console and also keep my suede armrest?
