Revel GT Dry Carbon Shifter Panel Cover 2015-2021 STI

I was super excited about the way this covers the ring around the boot! It looks great and went on easy!

If you got the money it’s worth it fosho it makes the interior pop so much and is 1000 times better than the boring **** stock 😂 for anyone that gets it and wondering why it’s not fitting you just have to push the front pieces alllll the way in then adjust everything as wanted. Also forgot to mention only took about 3 days to get here amazing.

If you’re are like me and put into a position where you can spoil your baby a little bit and care about making her look her best then this is definitely the next cop if you have the money. Piece fits directly onto the OEM piece and fits perfectly. The carbon fiber looks amazing right out of the box. A little bit of elbow grease and a nice ceramic coating can really make it pop. During the install, I decided to not completely take the OEM piece all the way off which in hindsight may have made things a little easier that way you can place it directly on because, once you clean and apply the prep solution and take the backings off the 3m tape you will NOT be able to slide it on/into place. It must be place on perfectly. Once you place it on. the glue will hold it for the life of it. Not to say that you can’t slowly peel it back off and move it if you must but it makes life a lot harder to do so. Trust me. When finally putting things back together. I found that it definitely took a little bit of wrestling to push everything back in. I found that the top of both sides would sit maybe 1/2” higher and would hit before I could pop it back in. I guess there would be a few ways through this problem. You could sand it down or just do what I did and slowly and extremely carefully, while checking the entire time, push it into place. After that little hiccup, I was able to move the center console back into place and Clip the parking break boot in and tighten everything.With all that said, I know that some people may not care about the inside of their cars because people don’t see it or whatever. But, it’s not for others it’s for you. when you’re driving your car daily and spend a lot of time driving why would you not make it feel like home?

The piece looks great, feels great and is still installed on my 2019 sti. Was looking for a solution to the ugly stock pieces. Way to go Revel, Was a tight fit due to being slightly too long on the part that touches the bottom of the radio, but im not a professional so it could have been user error. it took some effort to get in the right place. Pretty expensive but looks so much better than the stupid piano black that comes stock, my plan is to carbon fiber up everything and i have combined this with the two carbon fiber trim piece covers as well. And carbon badging for the outside, All together looks great. I recommend removing the entire center console, partially, by unscrewing the two screws under the center armest. Google it, haha. I have some big ideas for the STI so revel if you need someone to rep your products i would do so proudly,
