I selected this exhaust because I'm now getting older and wanted something that was louder than stock but more refined than a muffler delete. Read reviews and watched all the videos and chose the Remark Sport Touring because it was everything I was looking for.
The build quality is A1 - weld quality is fantastic and the exhaust fits perfectly. I think most other exhausts available currently stick out past the bumper way too much and often look out of place. The 4 inch tips fill the bumper perfectly and doesn't sit too low as most pictures make it seem. However, the tips seem to be too close together and will occasionally vibrate. A 3.5 inch tip option would have been nice as well.
Sound - the tone is perfect under wot - deep and just loud enough to not be obnoxious. It will never have the classic subie rumble but it doesn't sound like a Honda either. Cold starts are loud and will shake your house but so far the neighbors have not minded. On a loudness scale stock would be a 3, the touring would be a 6.5 and the deletes would be a 10.
Drone - I chose this exhaust because it was advertised as zero drone - However with the non resonated midpipe it does drone and it drones at cruising speed. It's a odd tone as its not so much loud as it is bassy and I wouldn't consider it a good bass either. The drone happens at 2600-3200 rpm - before and after that it's quite as stock. Very odd. Unfortunately this means that when you are going between 60-77 in 6th it will drone.
Conclusion - a great choice for anyone who's looking for something more refined and unobnoxious vs a muffler delete. A mid point between the Invidia Q300 & R400 in terms of volume. 10/10 build quality and fitment. However if you are looking for a completely drone free experience you'd want to look into getting something with a resonated midpipe. The drone is tolerable but also happens at speed limit cruising speeds.
