Radium Engineering plumbing kits are designed to compliment Radium Engineering Subaru EJ fuel rail installations. These kits interface with the factory feed and return hard lines in the engine bay (near the LH strut tower) and provide all the underhood fuel plumbing. All necessary fittings and hoses are included, along with an adjustable high-flow fuel pressure regulator. Radium offers two kits; you are looking at the kid that feeds injectors in series, similar to your factory setup! Radium does offer a parallel version as well (20-0584)
This kit is compatible with all Impreza (WRX/STi) platforms that use an EJ motor. For early vehicles with an engine bay mounted fuel filter, consult the installation instructions. This kit interfaces with the factory hard lines near the LH strut tower using SAE quick connects or older hose barb connections. An adjustable Radium Direct Mount Regulator (DMR) and Radium 0-100psi fuel pressure gauge are included. The fuel pressure gauge can be installed at any of the 6AN junctions before the regulator using the included adapter. The 6AN swivel fuel rail fittings are low profile making them ideal for the tight spaces associated with the EJ motor. The variety of reuseable PushLok hose ends permit customizing (such as adding a flex fuel sensor) making installation quick and painless. The included 6AN fuel hose can be cut with standard tools and assembled without special skills. Unlike standard low-quality rubber fuel hose that degrades with alternate fuels, the provided hose is resistant to all fuels including E85.
Needed a fuel hose kit for my rails and this one fit perfectly and really cleans up the engine bay
Bill,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review! We are delighted that the Radium Engineering Fuel Rail Plumbing Kit fit perfectly and helped clean up your engine bay. We are always happy to provide quality products that meet your needs.
Regards,
Be ready to swap your entire fuel system from pump to engine because the hoses are too big to fit factory hard lines coming from the tank. The clamps they give you are absolutely too weak to tighten down the hose enough to seal, and even with a stronger worm clamp, the hose is still too large to create a good seal. Double clamps with worm clamps and it's still dumping gas down the firewall.
Jadin,
I am sorry to hear you are having fitment issues with your Radium Engineering Fuel Rail Plumbing Kit. This kit is designed to work with the OEM hard lines. There are specific fittings that connect to the hard lines before the fuel line. These fittings will be what the rubber lines clamp to. The rubber fuel line should not be installed directly onto the OEM hard lines. It does look like the Subimods Team has reached out to you with more information. Please respond to the email so they can help resolve this issue for you.
