PTFE is widely regarded as the gold standard for chemically inert hose materials, offering outstanding resistance to the aggressive fluids used in modern performance vehicles. Radium Engineering’s PTFE hoses feature a carbon-lined core to help dissipate static charge buildup, a critical advantage in high-flow fuel systems.
These hoses are not limited to fuel use; they are fully compatible with oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant. With near-zero permeation, they prevent vapor seepage common with traditional rubber hoses, resulting in a cleaner and safer system.
Every Radium PTFE hose is pressure-tested in-house to 1,200 psi, even though PTFE construction is typically rated for pressures exceeding 2,500 psi. They are also engineered to perform reliably across extreme temperatures, from -94°F to +480°F.
Each hose is built with a seamless extruded PTFE core, reinforced with a stainless steel wire braid, and finished with a durable braided PET outer jacket. All hose ends are made from type-II black anodized aluminum, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, professional appearance.
