There are two main contributing factors when choosing the right gauge for you. Aesthetics and performance. Analog Gauges use a pointer to display the information and this is most common type of gauge as many of us are used to seeing the sweeping motion at the needle rises up across the display. Alternatively, the Digital display is quickly becoming more popular as the clean crisp display clearly shows the digital readout. So first decide which display is right for you.
Performance is often the main deciding factor and we offer a nice range of performance and affordability.
Performance, Digital, & EVO Series: This is our entry level gauge that gives you great overall performance at an affordable price point. Most are dual color, each gauge includes the pigtail wire harness, sender, instructions and lifetime tech support.
Premium, Halo & Premium EVO Series: These are our profession series, a step up from the performance series by including High performance senders, plug and play wiring, and Peak recall and Programmable warning feature built right into the gauge
JDM/Supreme/Crystal Blue -The best gauges we offer with upgraded lightning-fast stepper motor movements from Japan as well as the best Senders available. These are the fasting responding and quietest gauges we offer.
This is our patented technology built right into the gauge that allows the user to program the gauge to “warning” you when your gauge reads above or below your set warning level. In addition, you can Recall the highest level the gauge has recorded with a push of a button.
This is a matter of preference, some people like the idea of watching the pointer sweep around while others prefer reading a digital number at a quick glance. Luckily Prosport Gauges offer both variations as well as an industry first Dual display, our JDM Series gives you both a pointer and digital display in one gauge.
This question has been debated for years and the answer has changed over the years. Long ago the answer was yes, but within the last 10 years the technology in senders and Stepper Motor movements (all Electronic Prosport gauges use Stepper Motors t drive the gauges) has evolved to be just as responsive so they are in fact about even now and the difference is so small its negligible.

It just adds a fitting to your oil galley so you can use the oil pressure sensor
Hello,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review on the Prosport Remote Oil Pressure Sender Installation Kit. We are glad to hear it is working well for you and providing a clean solution to get accurate oil pressure readings.
Regards,
This part is very easy and simple to install and makes it so much easier to install an oil pressure sensor for a gauge so that way you don’t add even more wires and connectors under that intake manifold
Thank you for your 5 Star Review, Zack!
We are glad the Prosport Kit made installing your oil pressure sensor simpler and cleaner. Enjoy!
Regards,
Fit perfectly where I needed it
Austin,
Thank you for your 5 Star Review. We are happy to know that the Prosport Remote Oil Pressure Sender Installation Kit fit perfectly and met your expectations.
Regards,
For the EJ engine, the oil galley plug (1) that the low oil sensor utilizes is in a tight cramped space, but a great location for oil readings. There is a secondary galley plug (2), however, it has less space and further from the oil pump. This remote kit gives you options.
1) BEST: replace the factory sensor at galley plug 1 with a gauge sensor. Then use this remote kit to get a pressure reading from galley plug 2 and keep the factory wiring and sensor in the stock location.
2) OKAY: place a tee fitting on the galley plug 1 and keep factory sensor in the stock location. Then use this remote kit to get a pressure reading to the gauge sensor, placed elsewhere.
3) NOT IDEAL: keep the stock sensor in galley plug 1. Use the remote kit to to get a pressure reading to the gauge sensor, placed elsewhere, from galley plug 2.
