DETAILS

The PERRIN Transmission Support reduces drivetrain movements under hard acceleration, deceleration and cornering, which allows your engine to transmit more power to the wheels. This means better, more accurate launches for drag racing and auto cross type events where you do not want drivetrain slop. The factory "T" shaped interlocking support does not fit snugly into the transmission support. The gaps around this "T" shaped piece allow the transmission to move roughly 0.5" in all directions. The PERRIN Transmission Support is a larger version of the factory piece, eliminating the gaps and reducing transmission movements. The PERRIN Transmission Support, will only allow 0.1" of maximum deflection keeping the back end of the tranny in place during extreme driving and giving the driver a positive shift feel. PERRIN transmission supports are made from CNC 6061-T6 aluminum which means nothing will wear out. Also, with no urethane, the support will not squeak as urethane eventually tends to do.

Bought this along with the perrin shifter rear bushing and billetworks shifter and let me tell you these are must have upgrades! they definitely helped my BRZ shifter smoother and feel as if i had a gated shifter. Highly recommend

Excellent paired with the white line bushing, have a nice transmission whine and puts an end to drivetrain slop. Startup noise is also louder and sounds pretty cool. I have a loud exhaust setup so noise overall is noticeably louder if you do not have a conservative exhaust setup for daily driving.

Easy install

Fairly easy install! Bit of a tight squeeze if you dont remove the front pipe but still completely do able! Definitely stiffens up the power transfer!

Easy install

Stiffens up the transmission and is not a lot of money. I don't hear any increased gear whine
