Finished in a sleek black powder coat, this intercooler not only performs but also adds an aggressive, stealthy look to your engine bay.

Replaces OEM Boost Tube
The PERRIN TMIC is designed to remove the restrictive OEM plastic tube and create a more efficient connection from the charge pipe to the intercooler. The PERRIN intercooler converts the factory air path with two 90-degree turns into a single smooth pathway distributed evenly over the entire intercooler.

The larger core means less restriction and better cooling capabilities for more horsepower. The core size is 21.87" wide x 7.64" deep x 3.95" thick making the volume just over 660 cubic inches!

Design
The PERRIN Intercooler Core is 75% larger than the stock intercooler, offering a high-flow design and delivering consistent horsepower gains. The PERRIN End Tanks minimize air turbulence with smooth pathways, resulting in increased horsepower. With stainless-steel inserts, the threaded mounting holes provide easy installation and superior holding power.

No Tuning Required
Increase horsepower and torque without ECU recalibration or tune! This part is designed and tested to work safely on your vehicle without any tuning required! However, more power can be gained with proper ECU tuning! Confirm any tune or recalibration you add is specific for ALL modifications added to the vehicle.

Great Quality!!!

Big drop in Manifold air temp!

I installed this along with the perrin charge pipe and grimspeed pitch stop. The entire job took about 2-2.5 hours. Don't let the grinding scare you, it took me about 5 minutes with a dremel and carbide burr. I already had a dmann tune prior to install, so the power gain wasn't really noticeable, but watching the Manifold air Temps on my ap, the oe tmic was about 15-20 degrees above ambient at 18psi, with the perrin they are only about 5 degrees above ambient. Boost response at part throttle is a little less violent due to the volume of the core, which is actually nice when powering through a turn. Makes the car a bit more predictable.

Great upgrade

I was hesitant because of the plastic notching, but glad I went this rout. The plastic notch isn’t noticeable, and easy to do. Getting rid of all of the plastic charge pipe was the goal. Looks great in black, engine bay doesn’t stand out

Issues at first but...

First product arrived damaged and missing parts but Subimods was quick to resolve the issue. It is a little surprising that it made it through quality control as a returned item and just sent back out... That aside, still a 5 star review, product is exactly what I wanted and looks great!
