Add drive train rigidity and precision to your Subaru with our PERRIN Performance Subframe & Diff Lock Down System.

The subframe lockdown kit consists of two urethane bushings, two metal sleeve washers and two bolts. They work together to solidify and lock the rear subframe in place, eliminating all driveline slop and that annoying thud from first to second gear. As a bonus the Subframe Lockdown Kit includes differential bushings that keep the rear diff from shifting around during spirited driving. All this combines to create a real connected and precise feel for the driver.

Awesome little kit for a weekend project.

The install / instructions were pretty straight forward. I live in the rust belt and getting said old hardware out was not much fun but after a week of PB-Blastin i got everything out. I will say gathering up OEM Subaru hardware for reinstall is definitely worth your while.

Makes the car much more stiff with a little more NVH

Improvement In Handling

Installed on my 99 2.5rs and it made a difference for sure. Be sure to have a thread chaser or a wire brush to clean the threads before bolting it. I personally didn't need to since the underbody was clean on mine. All I did was spray some PB Blaster, hand threaded the bolts and backed them out a couple times. Used anti-seize and bolted right in. Use a torque wrench ! 60 ft/lbs.

Definitely worth it for the price!!

This is one of the Best Buy’s you can make for the price! Our rear ends will literally roll/fold 25-30 degrees under high torque load!! So this is a must from stock to street! I can’t stress it enough how important these are. But a few tips, make sure you have a thread chaser kit, not a tap, thread chaser. You will need to Clean the holes. Also you will be lowering your diff if you use the bushings. Make sure to use anti seize when re assembling So PLEASE use proper jack, stands, and level floor! Shout out to Perrin for making this type of kit so affordable!
