DETAILS

Reduce drivetrain shudder under hard acceleration by installing a PERRIN Pitch Stop mount. The factory pitch stop mount is designed to control the pitching of the engine and transmission under light to normal acceleration. Subaru's with power and drivetrain upgrades will need PERRIN's more aggressive option.

Under hard acceleration, the drivetrain is being twisted front to back from the front axle torque twist. To control this front-to-back twisting, Subaru created a pitch stop mount. The factory pitch stop is made of plastic with soft rubber bushings, allowing for a significant amount of movement under hard driving conditions, creating drivetrain slop & shudder.

The PERRIN Pitch Stop mount controls the movement of the drivetrain in both on and off throttle driving giving the driver a more positive feel and literally putting more power to the wheels by eliminating lost energy.

  • 6061 Billet Aluminum construction
  • 90a / 70a Durometer bushings
  • Annodized Finish

The bushings are as stiff as possible without introducing excessive NVH. (noise vibration harshness)

Easy to install

After removing the oem intercooler, Removing the original pitch mount and putting the new one in is simple. A little advice, use some grease to make the install a little easier.

It feels good

Honestly right off the bat I feel a major difference on initial take off and even more so on down shifts.
No more sloppy feel and or that lurchy feeling.
It feels good.... better on the launch less slop more traction.

clean up some slop

if you have alot of wiggle and slop in your drive line this can be a cheap 100 fix for some of it, necessary replacement on old cars

Does what it says

The OEM Pitch Stop is like a toy next to this one. I replaced it with Perrin’s after discovering my OEM snapped at some point while the previous owner had it. No more jerky shifts!

But no sticker Perrin? :(
