PERRIN dual stage, open cell foam filters are made of reticulated polyurethane foam which offers a minimal amount of air restriction. The filter element is sprayed with a special oil that adheres to the foam making the poly matrix sticky and retain dirt. Foam filters do not block dirt, they grab it all while making minimal drops in air flow. What does this mean to you? More dirt collected, more air flow and more horsepower. Remove months of oil and grime by simply spraying on this easy to use cleaner. Just let it sit on the filter element for a few moments and simply rinse away the cleaner and dirt. Once your filter is dry, just spray on a fresh coat of oil and you are ready to go.

2022 Legacy XT filter

So I initially ordered this when I had my 22 WRX. Before receiving notice it was on back order, an old lady ran a light and t-boned my drivers door sending me backwards into a telephone pole. Fun car for 82 days. So now I have the 22 Legacy XT Limited and obviously she lacked the sound and feel of my WRX, but after adding a Nameless axel back muffler delete along with the Perrin filter, if I close my eyes, she sounds a lot like the WRX. Easy order process. Delivery was super quick. I’m very happy to do business with Subimods. Can’t wait till they make a cold air intake and tune for the newer model Subaru’s
