Install was simple and the results are great. Can’t go wrong with this mod

Excellent mod.... love the functionality and the look in my engine bay.... glad I bought it!

Now to be fair, I didn’t install this myself, but I had it installed during a recent job above my skill level. I dont notice during normal braking, but have picked up on it, and will the car feels a bit more planted as I brake hard (Turns out that wasnt a cop, just a white explorer)

Still gonna do the rest of the brake system, just this is definitely a good start

This is a very simple mod that definitely forms up the brake pedal. I will say it doesn’t affect street driving much if at all, but it’s definitely noticeable under very heavy braking.

Please be careful during install. It’s a very tight area and there is a high likelihood you will drop something if you’re not careful (like me). Not a fun part of the engine bay to lose something in.

Also please see the photo I’ve attached. There’s a lot of YT instructional videos that are incorrect. Perrin’s instructions say to tighten the jamb nut to the Master Cylinder Brace, NOT the Master Cylinder. Most images I’ve seen show jamb nuts tightened in the wrong direction, doing nothing.

Great product, high quality, worth it if you track the car but probably not otherwise necessary.

First off lemme say you need to be mentally prepared for how deceptively difficult the install is. I’ve been wrenching for 15 years but that doesn’t make me immune from a curse fest when I drop a bolt in the engine bay because the work area is too cramped.

But that’s not a knock on Perrin. The part, once installed definitely firms up the brake pedal noticeably under heavy braking. At low speeds/moderate braking I didn’t notice much difference. But it’s more important under heavy braking anyway.

Very happy with this simple little device.
