Just bought my first Subaru and I’m brand new to cars/modding/etc., so this was very intimidating to me at first, especially popping out the tow hook cover (use a flathead and a thin towel). However, as long as you follow the instructions, use the right tools, and are cautious, this was actually really easy to install! I like how I can adjust the license plate a tad up or down, as I might want to lower mine once I get my new front bumper. Only trouble I had was deciding how many washers to use to make it stick out further from the body. I also recommend using some sort of level, that way you don’t get completely done with the tightening of the bolts only to realize your plate is crooked.
I still hate the look of a front license plate (yay Texas), but this is great for those looking for something hassle-free, drill-free, and unique, compared to the ugly middle centered front license plate.
